10Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 11See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done.
All glory to God
Let my past be a grinding stone and not a stumbling block. Understand that as long we are on Earth we have a choice of what we do and whether we allow our past mistakes to own us like chattel or for us to claim dominion over our past and make it work for God’s intent. For every failure there is a lesson to be learned- rejoice, do not be weary nor saddened, He is revealing to you the solution the moment you feel guilt. So quiet your mind and worry and instead begin to listen. Thank God for His mercy and patience. He knows that without Him we are imperfect and bound to fail, but through the Lamb of God we are redeemed, the only thing He wishes is that when we fail we repent and turn back to Him. When we do this, the rock we stumbled upon initially is what is now being used as a grinding stone to sharpen us into what He originally desired us to be.
