And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
I set myself apart from sin. For I know that in my weakness I cannot withstand temptation without the help of my Father in Heaven. To flee from sin even in your weakness against it, is to be strong enough to. An acknowledgment of truth and action upon it, is always more of a display of strength than a false display of strength in order to hide your weakness.
I set myself apart from sin. Do you not know what it means to be holy? For God’s children are a people set apart from the world, why then would you think that His chosen should continue to indulge in the things of the worldly?
I set myself apart from sin. My Lord has redeemed me from it. I am made new, let us all be made pure, and perfect brothers and sisters in His likeness that we may forever glorify His name and do no wrong against Him. Elohai, my God you are worthy of all things, more than we could ever give. To sacrifice everything is to gain everything. For as high as you exalt yourself, you shall be brought just as low. For as low as you humble yourself you shall be exalted just as high. For a man humbled is a man who shall be exalted, for he knows that is it not for the sake of his exaltation but for his master’s glory.
Indeed make no excuse for wrong doing as the prideful do to puff their chests out, claim your responsibility and repent earnestly and you shall be washed clean again. There is much temptation in comfort, and it is true that comfort is created from excess. this is why our God has called us to live in humility giving frequently to those with less that we may have equality and exalt ourselves above no one.
