To Bear Your Cross

Deuteronomy 2:7
Indeed, the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. The LORD your God has been with you these forty years, and you have lacked nothing.

Luke 22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

Faith should not be an expectancy of specific attainment in a way which we can comprehend, but an attainment of something that we will not understand until it has happened. We wait expectantly for that which the Lord has decreed, no matter how long, for His promise and covenant are already fulfilled in His Son. Though you doubt, I know the Lord can heal as He has already healed my soul. His reward is not death, but everlasting life. This I wait for expectantly and this I have faith in, and understanding that to receive we must sacrifice, for reward is given to those who have suffered diligently. Then grace will preside over those who have. Still even now, lacking we lack not, in suffering we rejoice, amidst confusion we comprehend, though discouraged we take pleasure in strife, our labor is without thought of personal gain and it is in these things the goodness of God is revealed.
